Chessengeria.eu is a frozen archive. Comments, the forum and new user registrations are closed. There is no active community space on this site and no moderation takes place, because there is nothing left to moderate.

What this site was

Chessengeria.eu published reviews, articles, interviews, guides and the MCERL rating list about chess engines and chess software, between April 2022 and January 2025. Alongside the articles it distributed compiled chess engine binaries, with the source code of each engine included next to the binaries, under the licences chosen by their authors.

The site was never a commercial project. All content was published free of charge.

What remains

All published articles remain online as they were written. Engine and program archives remain downloadable under their blog posts.

Corrections

If you find a factual error in an article, you can write to chessengeria@gmail.com. Corrections to the archive are not guaranteed, and no new articles will be published.

Credit

Some of the compiled binaries in this collection were built by other people and are signed accordingly. Every engine and program published here is the work of its own authors. Their open-source work is the reason this site existed.
