Darius's comment

Stockfish 16.1, 3846 Elo.
New MCERL leader. Nearly 50 Elo more powerful than its predecessor (Stockfish 16). Nice
 progression!

Alexandria 6.0.1, 3693 Elo.
"The young, angry" and extremely powerful engine is not afraid to knock harder and harder on the door of the elite 3700+ club. Its latest version has leapfrogged such giants as Clover 6.1, Caissa 1.17 and Seer 2.8.

I would like to draw attention to the wonderful development of the Peacekeeper engine, which is represented in MCERL in seven versions. From the debut Peacekeeper 1.10 with 2317 Elo, to the latest, recently released version Peacekeeper 2.30, reaching 3529 Elo! Huge congratulations to the developers!

No less exciting is the competition between the two most powerful engines written in the Rust language, namely between Viridithas and Velvet, the latter of which in its latest Velvet 7.0.0 reached as high as 3553 Elo.

I warmly welcome all new players to our ranking list, including very strong players such as Starzix 4.0 playing with 3507 Elo, Clarity 5.0.0 3482 Elo and those who have already earned their place in history, such as Komodo CCT 3177 Elo and GNU Chess 5.50 with 2880 Elo. It is worth noting the remarkable story associated with the latter -> the GNU Chess 5.50 is clearly stronger than its successor GNU Chess 6.2.9 with 2718 Elo.

Altair, Cheng, Leorik, Maxwell, Willow and many others lived to see the update, which made me very happy and gave the opportunity to join them in the competition within the MCERL cycle.

"The last will be the first." - these words reminded me when a low-resource chess engine Mcu-Max 1.0 played its first duels. I wish the author good luck and hope for successful development of future versions!

Due to my professional obligations, the next MCERL may be pushed back a few months. However, if circumstances are favorable, you can soon expect another article in the "Oldie Goldie" series, which I hope will give you a lot of satisfaction while reading.

Best,
